Life isn’t perfect but your hair can be

Winter can really wear out your skin… Let alone your hair and the catastrophes it can go through. For the last years especially during winter, I was always in a continuous conflict with my hair. I never had a good looking and healthy hair because I never knew how to fix it and take care of it during this harsh season of the year. I have always consoled myself by saying that at least I tried to do something. Let’s be realistic, your hair occupies a major place in selfie pictures you take daily… but, I’ve recently started mastering some tricks to get a good hair.

The best advice I can give you is to keep yourself happy and full of positive energy during the cold weather and the freezing wind.

  1. Keep your head warm:

Cold weather causes dryness to your scalp and hair, leading to hair splashing and breakage. A hat or a silk scarf can protect your hair from wind and rain.   1. Moisturize your scalp:

In order to get a healthy hair, you need a healthy scalp. Some scalp problems can lead to hair loss, such as dermatitis, fatty secretions and dandruff.

  1. Reduce the number of showers:

Experts recommend washing your hair two to three times a week during winter months, because lots of showers make the hair fragile and dry.   1. Cut your hair:

Cutting your hair every 6 or 8 weeks is a good way to keep your hair healthy and refreshed. Ask your hair expert to cut half an inch of your hair to prevent hair endings from becoming thin and brittle.
