Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (National Chamber of Italian Fashion) invited Al Ostoura’s Creative Director Ramzi Tabiat to be a member of the jury for the second edition of Milano Moda Graduate – a contest dedicated to the creativity and talent of students from the most prestigious Italian fashion schools.
The final show was chaired by a jury composed of international professionals who judged the collections and awarded prizes to the best students. Joining Ramzi Tabiat on the judging panel were Carlo Capasa (CNMI President); Sara Maino (Senior Editor Vogue Italia); Caroline Rush (CEO of the British Fashion Council); JJ Martin (Founder of La DoubleJ); Angelo Flaccavento (Journalist – Business of Fashion and Il Sole 24 Ore); Jessica Michault (Editor-in-Chief of Antidote Magazine); Marco de Vincenzo (fashion designer) and others, including a representative from Net-A-Porter, Ekaterina Moiseeva from Bosco dei Ciliegi Russia, and Polat Uyal from Beymen.
Around 240 students from 16 Italian fashion schools participated in this year’s Milano Moda Graduate. Winners included Praeploy Sooksawee and Andrea Grassi who won internships at Missoni and Salvatore Ferragamo respectively. Maria Martyashkina and Min Jihye won the Vogue Talents Award; while the Lineapelle award went to Youri Choi and Livia Rachel (Jury award).
