Monica Bellucci was born in Umbria, Italy as an only child. Her modeling career started when she was 13. At the age of 24, she moved to Milan and signed up with Elite. Within a year, she rose to prominence in the fashion industry, before making the transition to acting. After a few minor roles, she was nominated for a César Award in 1996 for Best Supporting Actress in The Apartment. She went on to act in acclaimed films like Malèna, Tears of the Sun, The Matrix Reloaded, The Passion of the Christ, and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

Born in Paris, France on July 1, 1985 Léa Seydoux was born into a prominent family with a background in business, cinema, and philanthropy. As a child, Seydoux nurtured dreams of becoming an opera singer, even studying music. But her shyness compelled her to quit. She then decided to become an actress. Her first screen appearance was in a French music video in 2005. The next year, she bagged a role in Girlfriends. Her breakthrough role came in 2008’s The Beautiful Person, for which she the 2009 Chopard Award for Best Upcoming Actress at the Cannes Film Festival. Since then, she has starred in hits like Midnight in Paris, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Farewell, My Queen, and Blue is the Warmest Color among others.

Naturally sensuous, Bellucci has been ranked as one of the most desirable women of all time. Her beauty is ageless, and her latest role in Spectre as the oldest Bond girl is proof enough. Bellucci has a decidedly effortless style. She chooses simple body-skimming silhouettes that highlight her curves. Her favorite brands include Azzedine Alaïa and Dolce & Gabbana, and she usually graces red carpets in one of these designer creations. Additionally, she has also been spotted in Lanvin and Paule Ka at public appearances. To go with her graceful looks, Bellucci’s makeup is usually fresh and enchanting. She chooses to play up her eyes sometimes while keeping the rest of her face neutral; or chooses to go all out with a bright red lip for a real screen siren look.

Seydoux’s older sister Camille works as her stylist. Their team effort is obviously paying off as the actress is always one of the best-dressed at every event she attends. Although she claims to prefer laidback men’s inspired styles, she makes virtually every look work – from belle of the ball to modern minis. Her stylish looks and tastes have made her the subject of many fashion and beauty editorials in magazines like the US, UK, and Japanese editions of Vogue among others. Her versatile looks mean that she can make a quick transition from a clean-faced muse to a smoky-eyed seductress with ease. On the red carpet, she prefers elegant chignons or old Hollywood styles for her hair.

Starring together in their latest movie Spectre, the two women are as different as night and day. What cannot be denied, however, is their star appeal and talent. So here’s to two talented Bond women!
